About Us

Aspen Goat Grazers was created out of a shared belief that the land we live and recreate on deserves thoughtful care and long-term stewardship.

Our team is made up of people who spend their lives outdoors in Colorado—working, riding, hiking, and exploring the same landscapes we’re hired to help manage. We’ve seen firsthand how invasive weeds, overgrown brush, and increasing wildfire risk threaten the places that make the Roaring Fork Valley special. Targeted goat grazing allows us to be part of the solution in a way that works with the land, not against it.

With a background in engineering, we bring a planned, systems-based approach to every grazing project. Site access, plant species, timing, and stocking density are carefully evaluated to deliver real results—whether the goal is noxious weed control, fuel reduction, or ecosystem restoration. Just as important, we approach each property with respect, knowing these aren’t just parcels of land, but places people care deeply about.

Aspen Goat Grazers exists to protect and improve the landscapes that support our communities and our outdoor way of life. We believe responsible land management should reduce wildfire risk, restore balance to native ecosystems, and preserve access to healthy open space for future generations.

This work matters to us because it’s personal. These are the trails we ride, the hillsides we admire, and the land we want to see thrive long into the future.

A man in a blue rain jacket and black cap lying face down on the grass, smiling and looking at the camera, with a small goat standing on his back, leaning in close to his face. The goat has black and white fur and curved horns, and is sniffing or nuzzling the man's face. There is a wooden fence and some trees in the background.
